Been dying to do a 1750s/James Wolfe shoot ever since I set foot on Culloden Battlefield three weeks ago. Also went to Quebec House in Westerham, Kent, which didn't help matters. Didn't managed to get much done last night since the light was shite and a storm blew in but hopefully tonight will be better!
Figured I'd use this for a new ID. Lovin' the oh so subtleness of hand-held remotes.
Oh god, yes I did. It was one of the most amazing places I've ever been. It was pretty non-descript on the whole but you just a real... vibe off the place.
The remote is for the camera because I haven't got a photographer. My shoots are always do-it-yourself operations, which is pretty limiting at times.

How much does the remote cost? Will it work with any camera? You see, I'm in the same boat as yourself- I have no photographer, but a deep desire and love for taking photos of myself.
The picture is wonderful, btw. Looks like it was taken during a tense evening on the battlefield.

It was only $25, if you can believe it. You need a specific remote for a specific camera but the people at the camera shop should be able to hook you up if you tell them what you've got.
God, that's aggravating, isn't it? I hate having to do this myself but nobody else I know would have the patience to take the amount of photos I commonly do during these shoots.
And thank you kindly! It does look like that, doesn't it?

DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
